Appropriate testing is done and results are shown:

• Abdominal radiographs: Mild hepatosplenomegaly


• Abdominal ultrasound: No significant findings


• Liver biopsy: Hepatic cords and sinuses appeared narrow, with Spaces of Disse diffusely expanded by amphophilic homogeneous material. Congo red stained the material and evaluation with polarized light showed typical yellow-green birefringence consistent with amyloid.


• Serum Leptospira titers: Negative
