Appropriate testing is done and results are shown:
Abdominal radiographs
: Mild hepatosplenomegaly
Abdominal ultrasound
: No significant findings
Liver biopsy
: Hepatic cords and sinuses appeared narrow, with Spaces of Disse diffusely expanded by amphophilic homogeneous material. Congo red stained the material and evaluation with polarized light showed typical yellow-green birefringence consistent with amyloid.
Serum Leptospira titers
: Negative
