Test Results

Selected results of initial testing are shown:

Complete blood count, biochemistry panel, and urinalysis: Unremarkable

Transrectal palpation and ultrasound: The left ovary was small (3 cm), firm, and had no follicles. The right ovary was enlarged and firm with several soft areas. Ultrasound revealed that the right ovary measured 10 x 7 cm and was composed of homogenous echogenic tissue and several cystic structures. No other abnormalities were observed.
