Transtracheal culture and sensitivity testing: Pending

Cytology of prescapular lymph node and perirectal mass: Results for both samples were the same and contained large numbers of discrete round mononuclear cells similar to those observed on the blood smear.

CSF evaluation: Protein concentration increased, with moderate pleocytosis consisting of erythrocytes and large lymphocytes.

Serology: Positive for bovine leukemia virus
