A 5-year-old neutered male mixed-breed dog was brought to the clinic by his owner. For approximately 2 wk the patient has had several "lumps" on his body and legs. The owner tells you a few of the lumps burst open recently, and the owners have noticed lameness and less energy. For approximately 1 wk the patient has been coughing and has had a decreased appetite.
