Llama with lateral recumbency

  • Medical history: Fecal evaluation for parasites obtained 6 months ago was negative. No deworming was performed this year.

  • Surgical history: Castration as a yearling.

  • Medications: None

  • Allergies: No known drug allergies.

  • Family history: Not known

  • Social history: Patient is kept on pasture with other llamas, goats, and a horse. In addition to pasture, they have access to grass hay and alfalfa. Other animals all appear normal.
