Educate owners of the llama about the disease caused by P tenuis, specifically about the damage caused to the spinal cord and possibly brain, which leads to a poor prognosis for recovery.



Recommend that the owners perform fecal exams on all other animals on the farm to determine whether they are affected by P tenuis but not yet showing signs.
